Avaliable Job Today We have an opportunity for an experience HR Officer to join us on a permanent basis. You will be responsible for managing every aspect of the employee life cycle from recruitment to retention and the first point of contact for all employee relation cases. You will be a flexible team player with a broad generalist background in HR.
Manage all staffing functions including preparing and coordinating all hiring-related documents, screening candidates, completing reference checks etc.
Administrative tasks such as preparing job descriptions, preparing offer letters, preparing contracts of employment, conducting new hire process and onboarding of new employees.
Provide support to managers in recruitment, selection and interviewing as required.
Provide support with investigations, performance management, absence management, as well as managing disciplinary and grievance cases.
Manage leaves of absence including holiday, maternity, paternity, unpaid leave, jury service, bereavement etc and provide accurate data to support the payroll function.
Respond to any employee queries in relation to the employment terms and conditions and payroll.
Manage the maintenance and accuracy of all employee records, training, and employee databases.
Work alongside external stakeholders to support with Health & Safety.
You will also be required to undertake and support a wide variety of project work.
Requirements and skills
· Proven experience as HR officer or other HR position
· Knowledge of HR functions (pay & benefits, recruitment, training & development etc.)
· Understanding of employment law and disciplinary procedures
· Proficient in MS Office
· Good organisational and time-management abilities
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
· Level 3 CIPD or Working towards
