ROLE DESCRIPTION

Working closely with and reporting to the Head of HR, the HR Officer will be providing administrative and operational HR support to the UK business and will assist with employee relations cases, employee benefits, performance management, L&D initiatives, onboarding, offboarding, and payroll administration.
The duties and responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Dealing with multiple HR administration tasks
- Maintaining personnel records, databases and HR systems
- Being the first point of contact for employees on any HR related queries
- Supporting line managers with their HR queries, in accordance with the organisational policies, procedures and processes and liaising with/escalating to the Head of HR as appropriate
- Preparing and amending HR paperwork such as employee letters, contracts, policies, procedures and organisational charts
- Assisting the Head of HR, Finance and the 3rd party payroll provider with payroll administration (but not processing)
- Administrating the employee benefits. Liaising with the benefits providers
- Assisting with various L&D initiatives as well as the performance and remuneration reviews
- Managing on-boarding and off-boarding. Delivering HR inductions; processing backgrounds checks
- Administering in a timely and proactive manner the probationary periods and reviews including advising managers, tracking and recording
- Extracting, producing, and analysing data as required
- Supporting the Head of HR with various HR projects and initiatives
EXPERIENCE/SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Experience in operational HR, in a broad and diverse role, and in a fast-paced environment
- Prior exposure to Employee Relations cases
- Advanced skills in Excel and Word. Intermediate in PowerPoint
- Very good written and verbal communication skills with excellent attention to details
- Experience using HR systems (PeopleHR and/or Rippling would be a strong advantage)
- Ideally CIPD qualified Level 3 or 5
- Naturally inquisitive and pro-active with a ‘can do attitude’
- Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills to ensure administration throughout the employee life cycle runs smoothly
- Excellent customer services skills with ability to build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Act as a ‘Ambassador’.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £35,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
