HR Manager (Exclusive)

Artemis Human Capital are delighted to be working exclusively with an extremely successful and dynamic Construction and Civil Engineering company based.

Our client are seeking a HR Manager to join the business. This role will have both a strategic and an operational focus, providing management with expert advice and support on all HR matters alongside processing weekly UK/ROI payroll.

HR duties

· Ensure employee relation cases are managed to meet best practice requirements including redundancy and grievance.

· Support Directors and Managers with recruitment projects.

· Develop and maintain HR policies.

· Monitor and develop performance appraisal systems.

· Assist with annual Personal Development Reviews.

· Monitor all employee records to include holiday, maternity, paternity requests and absence and sickness.

· Manage HR personnel files to ensure accuracy.

Payroll duties

· Liaise with site management on a weekly basis to obtain accurate employee timesheets on a timely basis.

· Process weekly payroll on Sage Payroll (UK & ROI).

· Costing of weekly salaries to the Sage system.

Experience/Qualifications

· Proven HR and Payroll experience.

· The majority of the employment is undertaken in the Republic of Ireland - knowledge of employment legislation within the Republic of Ireland is essential.

· Confident communicator.

· Capable of working autonomously and collaboratively.

· Previous experience being involved in recruitment – interviews, onboarding etc…
