The Faculty of Education seeks to appoint an HR Manager.
The successful candidate is expected to provide a comprehensive operational HR service to the Faculty and to provide HR advice to the Secretary to the Faculty and the Head of Faculty to support them in their work. This is an excellent opportunity for an HR specialist who wishes to pursue their career in HR. It provides a broad and varied experience of HR in a large and complex organisation, some project work and the opportunity to engage with the broader, strategic agenda of the Faculty.
We are seeking to appoint a person who can demonstrate significant experience of working professionally in HR in HE, or a similar environment, including some experience of managing a team as a HR Manager. The successful candidate will be able and willing to take the initiative, to exercise a degree of authority across a broad range of HR issues and to carry out preliminary investigation / provide initial advice on HR matters in support of strategic planning.
