I have partnered with an emerging Wealth Management firm in their search for a newly created HR Manager position to join the function. This is a true generalist role, with the successful candidate managing the day-to-day operational HR responsibilities & supporting the Head of HR from a strategic side. The unique aspect of this role is the HR Manager will step up into an interim Head of HR capacity whilst the current incumbent is on maternity leave so will need to have a strong stakeholder management background.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the HR department
- Oversee recruitment and selection
- Oversee monthly payroll & Tax Year End
- Partner with senior manager to assist with organisational planning
- Ensure that the department and firm is run in a compliant way and in line with employment legislation
- Manage all employee relations cases
- Manage internal employee communication
- Prepare, manage and lead the bi-annual compensation process
- Complete the annual reward and benefit reviews
- Manage induction / onboarding process
- Lead DE&I initiatives and policies
- Be part of the management & remuneration committee
Skills:
- Experience in a boutique Financial Services environment (ideally in a PE firm)
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to work at pace
- Proactive mindset
- Strong background in leading and managing a team
