Role Purpose: You will be required to assist with the management of the overall HR operations and the delivery of strategic objectives.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
- Manage complex employee relations casework including dispute resolutions, disciplinaries, grievances, absence, retirement etc.
- Advise managers on the terms and conditions of employment and knowledge share best practice with them.
- General administration of employee-related paperwork, such as employment contracts, new starter packs, or formal notices of termination etc.
- Responsible for managing the recruitment and selection process in line with organisational values and cultures.
- Responsible for ensuring all new starter inductions/paperwork are completed.
- Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation, and preservation of human capital
- Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics, and procedures across the organisation.
- Nurture a positive working environment.
- Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance.
- Overseeing staff attendance and absence monitoring
- Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs.
- Responsible for administration of training systems.
- Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics.
- Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management.
- Responsible for administering financial elements such as payroll, benefits, and pension schemes.
- Support all site KPI’s including Food Safety Standards, Health and Safety and site Hygiene standards.
Role Requirements:
- Proven working experience as HR Manager or other HR Executive
- People oriented and results driven.
- Demonstrable experience with Human Resources metrics
- Knowledge of HR systems and databases
- Excellent active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company.
- In-depth knowledge of labour law and HR best practices
- Degree in Human Resources or Level 5 CIPD qualification

Salary: £35,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
