Duties:
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
- Manage the recruitment and selection process, including conducting interviews and making hiring decisions
- Oversee employee onboarding and orientation programs
- Administer employee benefits programs and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations
- Maintain employee records and ensure accuracy of data in HR systems (PeopleSoft, Paylocity, Paychex, ADP, UltiPro)
- Manage employee relations issues and provide guidance to managers on disciplinary actions and performance improvement plans
- Develop and implement training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, including OSHA regulations
- Monitor HR metrics and analyze data to identify trends and make recommendations for process improvement
- Collaborate with management to develop annual HR budget
Requirements:
- Degree in Human Resources or related field
- Proven experience as an HR manager or similar role
- In-depth knowledge of HR best practices, labor laws, and regulations
- Experience with HRIS systems (PeopleSoft, Paylocity, Paychex, ADP, UltiPro)
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Experience with budgeting and financial analysis
