We’re on the lookout for an HR Manager on a full-time, permanent basis to join us at GXO supporting our new business win for Sainsbury’s in East Kilbride.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced HR professional to lead on all HR initiatives on site. You’ll build strong relationships throughout your network and on-site to take the HR team from strength to strength. Pay, benefits and more:
We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £50,000 per annum. In addition, we offer 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days so you can enjoy a positive work-life balance. What you’ll do on a typical day:
Build and drive the site HR people plan to support our overall business plan and develop our employee relations agenda- Carry out the proactive development of line management capability through formal training, coaching and guidance on all HR related activities
- Provide full HR generalist support and advice to managers and employees to ensure current knowledge of employee legislation
- Facilitate harmonious employee relations with the site teams and respective trade union representatives to ensure optimum working efficiency within the operation
What you need to succeed at GXO:
Demonstrable experience in a similar HR management role, preferably in an operational environment, with exposure of dealing with trade unions- A proven track record in change management and the ability to drive HR transformation
- Strong interpersonal, leadership, coaching and motivational skills
- An organised, data-focused and conscientious approach to your work
