We are seeking for Geocomp HR Department as Human Resource Manager (F/M).
Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer at Geocomp and functionally to the VP HR at Sercel, this position is responsible for overseeing the HR systems, handling employee relations, ensuring compliance with regulations, assessing staffing needs, hiring employees, and developing programs to meet the needs of the business. Duties to include:
- Lead our talent acquisition process
- Lead the on-boarding of new hires and off-boarding of departing employees, to include Exit Interviews
- Lead our employee communication, development, and engagement
- HR consulting and coaching with business line leaders to solve people and cultural issues
- Work closely with managers to create development paths and plans. Identify current talent gaps and develop succession or recruitment strategies to fill those needs.
- Develop yearly HR business plans based on achieving company vision and goals
- Interface with HR manager from parent company to ensure uniformity
- Manage corporate compensation program
- Manage company benefits program
- Benchmark both compensation and benefits with other firms in our industry
- Develop and administer HR policies
- Maintain HR records
- Ensure compliance with applicable labor laws (DOL, EEO, AAP)
- Support external immigration attorneys with H-1B and green card processing
- Manage staff of 3 employees: Benefits Specialist; Recruiter; Receptionist
- Provide support to payroll staff
- Administer 401(k) plan through Fidelity, manage the 401(K) committee, perform required testing annually
- Provide employee trainings and topics of interest through the GeoLunch program
- Run reports from the HRIS system as requested to include headcount, turnover, EEO, new hires; etc.
- Lead annual objectives & goal setting process; identify top talent
- Introduce the 5 Pillars of Management and supporting materials to leadership
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management
- SHRM Certification preferred

- Good problem solving skills and a solutions mindset
- Experience managing a staff and working with senior leadership team
- Strong MS Office Skills & computer skills
- Knowledge of labor laws and regulations
- Minimum of five years of experience in a variety of areas in human resources, including recruitment, compensation, benefits and HR software
