Continental Landscapes delivers grounds maintenance, arboriculture and street cleansing services for local authorities, housing associations and the NHS. Our aim is to provide sustainable outcomes for the local communities through our commitment, experience and innovative service delivery.
We directly employ approaching 1,000 people nationally across the U.K. The Company’s ground staff consists of many highly trained and experienced individuals incorporating green keepers, arborists and gardeners.

About the Job
Hybrid working between home-based, head office in Weston-on-the-Green, near Bicester, Oxfordshire and will travel periodically to other offices and clients throughout Great Britain.
To manage our people and culture in line with our Company values and policies. To provide strategic direction across the senior team in relation to the management of our people.
Effectively manage and drive the People and Culture Governance to enable stakeholder collaboration and involvement in delivery and ensure focus is in line with Company priorities.
Ensure that all People & Culture policies and ER advisory services are fit for purpose.
Key Responsibilities
Act to support the human factor in the company by devising strategies for performance evaluation, staffing, training and development etc.
Oversee all HR initiatives, systems and projects.
Serve as the point of contact for employment relations and communicate with labour unions.
Monitor adherence to internal policies and legal standards
Deal with grievances and violations invoking disciplinary action when required
Anticipate and resolve litigation risks
Report HR metrics to senior management
About you
Experience working in a multi-site HR environment, providing day to day advice on employee relations and HR processes.
Strong working and up-to-date knowledge of UK employment law, including TUPE.
Previous success at developing a business partnering approach to the delivery of HR services.
Experience of the end to end recruitment process, including induction.
Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communications.
Advanced level in application of MS Office, especially MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Strong organisation skills, with excellent time management and the ability to work under pressure and to multiple tight and concurrent deadlines.
Demonstrable problem-solving skills and effective approach to decision-making.
Ability to work effectively with colleagues and other stakeholders.
