Working with our Peterborough based client, we are looking for a HR Officer to undertake a 6–8-month contract in their busy HR Department.
You will be responsible for providing for providing a professional and comprehensive management of day-to-day HR activities to line managers and employees across the business.
Your key responsibilities will be: –
- Administration – ensuring all day-to-day HR tasks are complete, book and maintain records for staff induction and training, ensure HR system and files are accurate and up to date for each employee. Support with Occupation Health administration and provide note taking capability for disciplinary and grievance processes.
- Support – provide day to day support to line managers and employees, alongside supporting HR Advisor and HR management team ensuring consistency and understanding of HR related practices. Provide accurate information to management teams and employees, ensuring queries are responded to in a timely manner.
- Reporting and KPI’s – maintain and provide accurate KPIs information.
- Recruitment – support the recruitment and selection process, undertake exit interviews, and record accurate information.
You will: –
- Have experience in working in a busy HR team.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to build relationships with line managers and employees at all levels, ensuring they receive the highest quality of service.
- Be able manage own workload and ability to re-prioritise when appropriate.
- Be able to work at pace always ensuring attention to detail.
