About the job

We’re now looking for a graduate to join our HR team. This is a brilliant opportunity to train as a HR professional and get exposure across multiple industries and company sizes. You will provide comprehensive administrative support for all aspects of the employee life cycle, contributing to the delivery of high-quality HR to our internal and external clients. You’ll help great companies achieve their ambitious growth plans by providing an efficient, accurate, seamless and client focussed HR service, and you’ll work at all levels of your client/s, up to CEO/owner.

At the early stage of your career, you’ll be confident in your plans to qualify with the CIPD. Exactly what you’ll do on a day to day basis will be influenced by your clients’ needs, but early on could include:

  • New hire to leaver processes.
  • Designing, managing and maintaining HR Information Systems (HRIS).
  • Producing and analysing reports.
  • Dealing directly with clients and their employees to resolve queries – theirs and ours.
  • Reviewing and updating people procedures, policies and handbooks.
  • Rewards benchmarking, communication and administration.
  • Supporting employee relations investigations, eg absence, performance, discipline, grievance.
  • Supporting recruitment activity, including graduate assessment.
  • Assisting with projects as and when needed.

About you:

You’ll be a primary point of contact for your clients, and will need to be:

  • Excellent at written and spoken English.
  • Confident in your knowledge of, or willing to really learn UK employment law.
  • Experienced in Microsoft Office, including Excel, with exposure to HR software.
  • Highly accurate. First time.
  • Brilliant at building and maintaining relationships at all levels.
  • Resilient, flexible, able to balance competing demands on your time.
  • Proactive, polished, professional, positive.
