Fixed Term Contract - 12 Months
Summary:
The HR Generalist will be reporting to the HR Business Partner in London Broadcast Center.
The role will be responsible to execute and support processing of all HR procedures regarding Recruitment, Services, Employee Relation activities and Payroll within the European region.
Only candidates based in UK with Local experience will be considered for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
HR Generalist Areas:
- Demonstrate knowledge in HR employment law and keep up to date with any changes in UK Employment law.
- Assist in developing and communicating various policies and procedures in line with market best practices and employment regulations.
- Coordinate Health and Safety requirements within the London broadcast center in conjunction with the Health and Safety committee
- Assist with training and DEI (Diversity, equality & Inclusive) monitoring in the London broadcast center and collate information for annual reports
- Manage employee health insurance related matters and responding to employee queries.
- Assisting HR Business Partner with Trade Union related matters
- Manage the leavers process through payroll and arrange exit questionnaires/interviews
Recruitment:
- Handle end to end recruitment activities for Europe Region through the company’s ATS – Jobvite system
HR Systems:
- Maintain staff records in the HR systems, compile accurate and timely statistical HR information from ADP & SAP systems and reports as requested for London and Doha management.
- Support in projects involving automation and enhancing system functionalities.
Employee Relations:
- Responsible for the administration of employee relations matters including disciplinary and grievance, performance and absence management procedures and attend meetings as required by the HR Business Partner.
- Support HR Business Partner and Business Unit Managers in staff related matters
Bureau HR Administration:
- Working with Bureau Chiefs to manage all European Bureau HR administration
Payroll:
- Managing Payroll inputs for Europe region.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in HR or in business relevant field
Experience
- Minimum of three years’ experience in HR advisory/generalist role
Preferred
- Understanding various HR software systems, like SAP – HCM, SuccessFactors, ADP and Jobvite is preferred
- Advance level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Good understanding of UK labor laws
- Organizational skills and ability to prioritize
- Commitment to ongoing HR Learning
- Interpersonal with good communicative skills
