We are looking for a HR Advisor to join our friendly team at Ralawise Ltd, a market leader in the clothing distribution market.
Department: Human Resources
Hours: Monday to Friday; 9.00am – 5.30pm
Reporting to the Senior HR Advisor and working as part of a busy Human Resources team, as HR Advisor you will provide an efficient dedicated first line of support to the Ralawise management team, supporting on HR policy and practice such as disciplinary, grievance, absence and performance management.
Key responsibilities:
- Managing employee relation cases including sickness, flexible working requests, grievances and disciplinaries up to and including dismissal.
- Providing advice and guidance to staff and managers and working with them to ensure they follow the correct processes and procedures.
- Providing efficient, accurate and effective HR support within the business
- Responsible for all aspects of warehouse recruitment for the business – Offering support in the recruitment of new employees by updating job descriptions, posting job advertisements, arranging and carrying out interviews, as required.
- Maintaining the HR system to a high standard, ensuring that all new starter and leaver information is captured accurately in a timely manner and in line with all legal requirements.
- Keeping policies and procedures up to date whilst implementing new processes as required.
- Completing new starter administration such as offers and contracts.
- Supporting the delivery of the local induction as required and contributing to the successful onboarding of new employees, including probationary periods.
- Supporting and encouraging employee engagement initiatives.
- Monitoring and dealing with absence information.
- Developing robust people reports for the business.
- Managing formal performance management cases and ensuring all cases of formal performance management are documented and recorded.
- Supporting the Payroll Advisor in maintaining accurate employee information for the purposes of payroll.
- Efficiently managing the HR drive folders.
- Supporting with any training and development initiatives.
- Completing general HR administration duties including typing, photocopying, scanning, filing and organising meetings.
The following experience is essential for this role:
- At least three years HR experience.
- Level 5 CIPD Qualification is essential; Level 7 CIPD Qualification is desirable.
- Experience of managing complex ER cases up to and including dismissal.
- Experience advising managers and stakeholders on HR policies and procedures.
- Experience working within warehousing or a manufacturing environment.
- Experience of dealing with all levels of staff in a persuasive and credible manner.
- Capable of working using your own initiative.

- Working Hours: Monday-Friday. The Warehouse operates day and night shifts so you will need to be willing to work during these hours on occasion, although the bulk of your work will be carried out between 9.00am – 5.30pm.
- IT literacy with good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Salary: £30,000.00-£33,000.00 per year
