This is an exciting opportunity to further your HR career, as an HR Adviser, working in a friendly and supportive team. You will have the opportunity to develop your HR experience and skills in a developmental environment, building on your existing knowledge and providing first class HR advice in a University setting.
We are seeking to recruit an HR Advisor to join our friendly and high-performing HR team. The HR team works in partnership with a diverse range of departments and employees across the University. In everything we do, we champion a culture of excellence and inclusivity.
As the HR Adviser for a designated group of departments, you will provide support and advice to managers on a range of HR issues and embed a partnering approach. Responsible for 1st line case work in these areas, you will work closely with colleagues in HR Operations and Payroll to ensure a seamless service to our customers. Under supervision, you will also provide partner level advice for a nominated section across all areas of HR activity, which will help develop you for the future.
On a personal level you’ll be CIPD qualified or working towards this, have experience of working in a busy HR generalist role and have contributed to employee relations cases. An excellent communicator, you will be able to influence and advise managers based on your knowledge of HR policy and procedure, bringing a can-do attitude to the team.
