Job description
Compressor Sta Oper 24 Hr
1. Operate internal combustion engines, turbines, and related equipment and facilities.
2. Report pressures and operating conditions to dispatcher and maintain related records.
3. Change pressures and route gas as directed.
4. Operate auxiliary equipment such as water pumps, generators, motors, heating boilers.
5. Make minor repairs to engines and equipment, assist in major overhauls, and keep tools and equipment in safe and proper working conditions.
6. Perform various maintenance duties such as painting, cleaning, polishing, and caring for grounds, etc.
7. Prepare records and reports as required.
8. Direct other employees in the performance of assigned duties.
9. May perform other duties as required in higher or lower classifications.
10. Order and receive material and maintain appropriate records.
Successful candidates are required to live within commuting distance of 30 Miles - OR - if you do not live within 30 miles must be willing to self-relocate.
