Salary: £80K + DOE plus executive benefits including bonus and car allowance
What you’ll be doing:
As an individual at this role level, the role holder will focus on the following:
- Driving performance in relation to strategic objectives
- Focusing on continuous improvement and decision-making
- Operating in a manufacturing, unionised, project-based organisation
- Influencing Senior Leads (Partners) to operationalise, integrate and deliver people processes in line with business priorities
- Planning, delivering and deploying people interventions in support of business outcomes
- Responsibility of budgets and may have headcount or internal budgets for their team
- Setting and devising IBP approach to people budgeting in support of business objectives
- Working closely with Directors and delegates responsibilities to Senior and non-senior Leads/Partners
- Monitoring team performance and develops staff, and helps to create and maintain shared team values decision-making

Your skills and experiences:
- Collaborative business partnering and functional expertise
- Effective stakeholder management skills
- HR generalist; able to demonstrate knowledge and practical experience of delivering strategies in the areas of recruitment and selection, absence management, employee engagement, employee relations, retention, and performance management
- Good working knowledge of employment law, HR Policies and Procedures.
- Experience of working within unionised environment.
- Understanding of budgets and employee statistical data to make informed decisions
- Experience of international HR would be beneficial
- Degree level qualified – CIPD level 7 would also be desirable

The HR team:
You will be an integral part of the operational HR team and work very closely with the HR director in a role that will move at pace with the business. This role is instrumental in implementing positive organisational change whilst embedding the people agenda for the business.
As the first point of contact for all HR matters, you will deal with a full range of HR activities effectively and implementing organisational change and process improvements.
