Are you interested in pursuing a career in HR or looking to gain further HR experience to progress your career? An exciting opportunity has arisen for a HR Coordinator in WMG. The successful applicants will work on a variety of interesting and challenging HR issues in a busy and fast-paced dynamic department.
This role works closely with the HR Officer and HR Business Partners and directly engages with all staff in WMG, as well as other stakeholders such as central HR. You must be able to problem solve and deal with sensitive and highly confidential issues with tact and diplomacy. You will act as a first point of contact in responding to and addressing a wide range of departmental HR enquiries and be able to determine those which need escalation.
Interpersonal skills are key in this role, so you must be able to demonstrate your willingness to be involved in a diverse range of HR tasks to ensure a customer-focused HR service. The successful applicants should have excellent IT skills and written and verbal communication skills with an ability to liaise on HR matters.
Previous experience within HR and of HR systems is essential. You need to be able to work as part of a team and independently, using your own initiative to manage your workload. In addition to this an ability to prioritise work, accurately undertake and deliver this within tight timelines and to track and monitor the progress of work is vital.

Job Description
JOB PURPOSE:
To assist the WMG HR Business Partners and HR Officers and provide efficient and effective HR administrative support to WMG on all human resource matters. To provide generalist HR support/advice to managers and act as a first point of contact to line managers, employees, and other departmental visitors more generally within WMG.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. To act as the first point of contact for employees and line managers within WMG and provide advice and guidance on general HR issues (e.g. terms and conditions, probation, annual leave, performance management and absence management).
2. Provide administrative support for disciplinary, grievance, performance and sickness absence investigations and hearings (e.g. producing letters, arranging meetings and taking notes).
3. Support the HR Business Partner and HR Officer in providing a comprehensive HR service to WMG through the provision of clerical support, producing letters, documents and spreadsheets using the appropriate software, and assisting on HR projects and processes.
4. Use the HRIS to provide management reports/information, KPI’s and cascade to the HR Business Partners, HR Officers, and business areas as appropriate.
5. Arrange Occupational Health appointments for employees
6. During peak times assist the Recruitment Coordinators in ensuring that adverts/ job descriptions are checked, approved, and fully authorised, within tight deadlines.
7. Develop and maintain the WMG HR intranet and keep it up to date. To support the induction process, as appropriate.
8. Liaise with Central HR, Payroll/Pensions department and stakeholders to ensure all HR transactional processes are completed.
9. Attend regular HR team meetings and local first line management meetings as required, present materials, take notes and follow up any agreed action points.
