HR Coordinator (12 month Fixed Term Contract)

About the Role
Relationships mean everything to us, and this one is particularly special. You’ll have an important part to play in automotive success that spans nearly 50 years. Unipart Logistics (UL) has secured a contract to run the new, custom-built Jaguar Land Rover Global Parts Logistics Centre at Appleby Magna in Leicestershire. Due to our ongoing fast paced growth of our automotive project based at Mercia Park, Unipart is currently looking for an innovative individual to join our team as an HR Coordinator. You will support the team and the wider project to ensure that all administrative requirements are met, providing a comprehensive, flexible, and efficient administrative service to a high standard.
As part of your key responsibilities you’ll:
- Meet the requirements in terms of efficiency, timeliness and quality when onboarding employees
- First point of contact for general HR queries and signposting to the correct department where required
- Supporting new starter inductions, including site tours when required
- Provide support for our ongoing project related tasks, specifically administrative tasks associated with post TUPE transfer
- Coordinating employee meetings on an adhoc basis i.e. TUPE consultations
- Supporting with pay queries that are escalated to the team
- Attending meetings in place of the HR Consultants where appropriate
- Reporting on new starters and leavers, and updating dashboards
- Support the team by providing weekly updates on completed and outstanding tasks
- Organising DBS checks when required
- Coordinate and support AVSEC requirements
About You

- Understanding of HR processes and procedures
- Confidence and competence in dealing with multiple stakeholders across a range of management levels
- An eye for detail with the ability to work to targets and timescales
- Excellent communication skills including effective listening and written communication
- Strong team player
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Organisation and time management skills
- Ability to build credible relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- High quality and proven administration skills
- Experience working in a logistics and operational environment would be an advantage
