We are currently recruiting for a People Coordinator based in Hertford & Home working. This is a permanent position with Blue Square, offering a salary of Up to £25,000 per annum with a great bonus.

The Role
Our People Coordinator is core to driving our People team ambition to create exceptional experiences throughout our people journey. Our People Coordinators act as the first point of contact for the People function, driving service-excellence, keeping people experience at the heart.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment & Onboarding:
Creating job descriptions and adverts in line with job descriptions, maintaining our job boards and careers socials and posting adverts in line with our employer brand toolkit
Creating interview schedules for hiring managers, and inviting candidates to interview
Managing communications to unsuccessful candidates, highlighting those suitable for our future talent pool
Leading on the pre-boarding experience, including the completion of right to work and compliance checks for all new starters
Owning the onboarding experience for all new starters, acting as the connection between the People team and our business areas, ensuring the seamless delivery of HR services with a focus on ensuring outstanding candidate and employee experience
People Services:
Acting as first point of contact for the People team, managing the shared inbox in line with SLAs, advising on policy and procedure, escalating where appropriate to the relevant People team member
Responsibility for administration at every stage of the employee life cycle
Coordinating the management of family friendly policies and procedures – maternity, paternity, shared leave, and requests for flexible working
Liaising with managers to provide guidance on operational people activities and policy
Supporting the provision of monthly payroll information, ensuring details are communicated and accurately documented in line with agreed payroll deadlines
Supporting the People Operations team with employee relations case management, attending meetings as notetaker and preparing documentation
Participating in the administration of key people calendar events such as pay reviews and talent mapping, Gender Pay Gap reporting and HR audits
Working with the wider People function to achieve the People team’s strategic objectives by contributing on a range of different projects
Systems, Reporting & Compliance:
Maintaining accurate employee data records on the People systems, and preparing and maintaining reports as required
Providing user support and guidance for queries related to the People systems
Ensuring that data is processed via the system in a secure and systematic way, in compliance with GDPR and company procedures
Identifying areas for improvement with the HR policy framework, creating viable solutions on how to enhance and optimise processes, policies, and procedures, ensuring compliance in line with statutory obligations
Skill and Experience
Essential:
Ability to communicate with & influence stakeholders at all levels
Sharp attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and an accountable approach to your work
Ability to multitask, work to deadlines, prioritise under pressure, and use own initiative
Excellent team player with the ability to build effective team relationships and promote an environment of trust and flexibility
A high level of IT literacy, Including Microsoft packages and SharePoint
Able to manipulate data in Microsoft Excel using macros, pivot tables and V lookups
