About the Job
We have an exciting opportunity for a HR Coordinator to join us on a 1 year fixed-term contract to support us through an exciting but busy period of change within our organisation.
This new role will support the HR Manager and will be responsible for a wide range of duties across the full employee lifecycle, ensuring that we provide the best employee experience possible. The role will be instrumental in helping LHCPG to drive operational excellence by providing the HR Manager the opportunity to focus on some major HR projects. There will be plenty of scope for the successful candidate to get involved in these projects and to take on additional responsibilities that will help to broaden their HR knowledge.
We work in a Hybrid model, working 2 days at home and 3 days from the office; we feel that this strikes the right balance between enabling you to build effective relationships across the business and support managers and employees with day-to-day HR queries and administration, whilst also providing an opportunity to have focus time to get on with projects away from the office and to take care of your wellbeing.
What you will be doing
Like many HR jobs, no two days are ever the same; however, an idea of what your responsibilities will look like:
To support with end-to-end recruitment process- To take control of the maintenance of the HR system
- Onboarding and offboarding all new starters and leavers
- Create and maintain regular reports on HR metrics
- Assist and support in HR projects and provide administrate support
- Support the implementation of HR policies and ensure HR administration is up to date
- Assist with internal and external HR related inquiries and requests
- Assist with the monthly payroll
What you need
Some previous experience working within HR as either an assistant or coordinator.- Great communication skills both written and verbal
- Experienced in recruitment; liaising with agencies, confident in advising on recruitment campaigns and how they are approached/delivered, changing the approach to ensure a sufficient talent pool is accessed and the role filled as per our recruitment plan/timeframes.
- Experience of using ATS’s
- An understanding of and awareness of UK Employment Law and GDPR
- A positive and supportive attitude, with the ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative.
- Excellent attention to detail, energy and enthusiasm
