Why we're hiring:

Our WPP People team is seeking an HR Coordinator to join them for a 6-month FTC. Based in our enviable offices on London's Southbank, this hybrid-based role offers the opportunity to work from home 1-2 days a week.

Within this role you will interact with employees at all stages of their WPP careers. From sending a new starter their job contract to responding to queries from current employees and partnering with multiple stakeholders making sure new starters have all they need on their first day – your efforts will be crucial to ensuring our employees feel welcomed and valued.

This role would suit someone building a career in HR, who is focused on providing a great employee experience. The role will provide the chance to build relationships with multiple stakeholders across WPP and join the world largest creative transformation company!


What you'll be doing:

  • Producing employment offer letters, contracts, and starter packs
  • Creating and maintaining employee records
  • Supporting employee inductions on site
  • Assisting with projects such as Global Salary Reviews and Recognition Awards
  • Ensuring monthly payroll changes are prepared accurately and comprehensively
  • Continually monitoring employment terms to ensure managers and staff are informed of contractual changes
  • Acting as the first point of contact for general internal and external HR queries, including reference requests, partnering with the People team as needed

What you'll need:

Organisation and prioritisation skills are a must, and we will need you to have a keen eye for detail. You will enjoy building relationships with people and be able to gain trust and always maintain confidentiality. Prior experience as a HR Coordinator is advantageous for this role and the ability to work as part of a team.
