An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly experienced HR Co-ordinator to join the Faculty of Law's professional services team. You will be responsible for leading and advising on all HR matters in the Faculty and its research centres and will work closely with the Chair of the Faculty and Faculty Administrator in particular, as well as being an integral member of the Faculty's professional services team.
You will be experienced in working effectively in an HR environment and, as line manager of the Faculty's HR Administrator, will ensure that all aspects of the HR function in the Faculty are undertaken in a professional, timely and accurate manner in accordance with the relevant legislation. You will be able to review new HR advice and guidance, assess the impact on Faculty procedures and recommend and implement changes as required. You will be well-organised, proactive and responsive, with the ability to communicate at all levels and to work well within and across teams. With an excellent level of attention to detail, you will be able to prioritise effectively and work quickly and accurately. You will be flexible and adaptable and able to apply tact and discretion when managing sensitive and highly confidential information. You will have excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure while managing workloads to meet multiple deadlines.
You will be educated to degree level/Level 6 vocational qualification or have an equivalent level of practical experience.
