Job description
A hospital in Peterborough City is looking for a Human Resources Business Partner to overlook the HR Advisors team and report to the Assistant Director of People and Organisational Development.
There will be some cross site working at Hinchingbrooke Hospital site in Huntingdon.
This is a temporary ongoing role and fully office based.
JOB PURPOSE
- · To be a business partner to a designated Directorate and its leadership team to influence and shape the people and change agenda, developing and delivering HR people plans and priorities for the specified Directorate.
- · To provide business insight into the formulation of both local and corporate Workforce Strategy HR
- · To diagnose business and people related issues and requirements for the specified Directorate and act as the crucial link between the needs of the Directorate and accessing the resources and talents of the specialist Corporate Workforce and OD functions.
- · To work cooperatively and collaboratively with colleague Business Partners to ensure consistency of application and approach on all people management matters across all Directorates
- · To contribute to the overall management and leadership of the Workforce and OD Directorate through membership of the Workforce and OD Directorate leadership team.
- Take responsibility for the development of specific areas of HR policy for the whole Trust working collaboratively with other members of the Workforce and OD Directorate management team and ensuring alignment with national policy and requirements.
- Manage the identification and delivery of people related impacts in respect of Trust growth or change proposals e.g. insource/outsource, M&A, TUPE etc, drawing on input from specialist teams within the wider Corporate Workforce and OD function.
