Siemens Digital Industries Software is a leading provider of solutions for the design, simulation, and manufacture of products across many different industries. General Summary of the Job:
These responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Advise managers and/or employees accordingly for (an) assigned organization(s) and/or region(s).
- Implement policies, methods, processes or programs relating to same HR functional area(s).
- Manage and resolve basic to complex employee relations issues
- Conduct internal investigations including, but not limited to: allegations of misconduct, harassment, discrimination, retaliation, and/or violations of company policies.
- Shepherd performance management in partnership with designated people managers.
- Provide HR policy guidance and interpretation. (ie, employee and manager inquiries).
- Project-manage and support business unit restructures (RIF, EEO Reporting, Assessment Spreadsheets), M&A, workforce planning.
- Develop HR programs and Initiatives.
- Provide coordination, communication and delivery of virtual training to employees and managers on HR related matters.
- Facilitate immigration & delegation processes by partnering with HR Operations team and partnering with the Global Mobility & Immigration Team.
- Coordinate employee related requests to ensure accurate and timely follow up and closure/ resolution of their requests or concerns.
- Provide organizational health analysis and support reporting requests to business and P&O Business Partners.
- Work with HR Operations to ensure Workday changes (ie, Cost Center Changes, Job Code changes, Job Posting support, etc) get processed.
- Manage mass communication on HR related topics (ie US HR Updates & Reminders, Employee/ Manager Reminder Deadline, Workday Updates, etc)
- Coordinate and initiate Exit Interview Process.
Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience
- Bachelors degree in business management, human resources, or a related field
- 3 – 6 years minimal experience in Employee Relations as a HR Generalist, Business Partner or Employee Relations Specialist role
- Experience partnering with people managers to address instances of employee underperformance
- Experience conducting investigations into employee concerns, including but not limited to, allegations of misconduct, harassment, discrimination, retaliation, and/or violations of company policies
- PHR or SHRM certification a plus
- Strong consultative skills, communication (written and oral) skills, initiative, detail-orientation, and problem-solving skills. Strong Excel skills and proficiency in Word and PowerPoint required. Workday experience a plus.
Working Conditions/Physical Requirements:
- This job can operate in a remote or professional office environment.
- Minimal Travel as required
The salary range for this position is $93,400 to $168,100 and this role is eligible to earn incentive compensation. The actual compensation offered is based on the successful candidate’s work location as well as additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education/training.
