Role Overview
Operating as a trusted and solution focused business partner you will work with the UK based HR team to support business leaders with implementation and maintenance of people processes, projects and initiatives and be prepared to challenge the business to ensure best people practices.
Role Responsibilities
- Evaluate, introduce and encourage practices to minimize employee relations issues and provide effective resolutions when issues arise.
- Manage Employee Relations casework
- Support HR team and business in delivery of HR projects and initiatives
- Develop and implement actions to maintain and improve employee engagement.
- Provide coaching and guidance to line managers on best practice in dealing with HR matters.
- Analyse HR metrics and devise appropriate action plans and solutions. Using data effectively to challenge and influence.
- Monitor and work with line mangers to ensure effective succession planning and talent management.
- Work with Managers and Talent Acquisition as required, to source candidates and fill vacancies in a timely manner.
- Ensure recruitment activity is in line with budgets and work with managers to establish need, find alternative solutions and ensure best practice through the recruitment process.
- Undertake any required administrative duties supporting various HR processes and work with Shared Services to ensure timely and accurate completion of data and reporting.
- Development and delivery of training where required, including induction.
- Support the continuous Performance Management process.
- Maintain knowledge of HR best practice and changes in legislation.
Candidate Requirements
- Able to demonstrate breadth of experience across the HR disciplines, performance management, L&D, Engagement, Talent Acquisition.
- Experience of dealing with complex employee relations issues
- Proven track record of building relationships and influencing key stakeholders
- CIPD Qualified – level 7.
- Minimum of 3 years in HR senior HR advisor / business partner role responsible for a business area of 200 people plus
- Ability to remain impartial.
- Ability to travel to sites within the UK for team meetings around 4 times per year
