HR Business Partner – Full Time, Permanent
£50,000 - £55,000
(Additional £6000 car allowance)
Are you a confident HRBP that operates comfortably in a fast-paced HR office within Logistics sector at Warrington?
This is a fantastic opening for you to be engaged with a leading 3PL company who are seeking someone who wants to establish a growing career in their expanding HR department.
You will be partnering with the retail sector, developing people plans and delivering a comprehensive HR professional service to enable it to position itself as a market leader in all key strategic markets.
Responsibilities include:
· Driving a culture of business ownership/accountability to ensure HR policy and procedures enable a highly positive performance culture
· Actively identifying opportunities in procedures, proposing and implementing changes necessary to cover people related risks
· Leading the design strategy and delivery of HR policies across the business
· Leading key people-related projects according to business needs
· Representing as the performance improvement driver, encouraging positive changes throughout the business & supporting future training plans
· Directing succession planning processes and determining achievable talent plans are in place for a viable pipeline of talent & sustainable organisational capability
· Coaching/Supporting Managers and Directors in all aspects of people management, including discipline, grievance, absence management and end-to-end employee lifecycles
· Corresponding as a Change Champion within designated area of responsibility e.g. Employee Relations Frameworks, manager self-service (HRIS), pay & grading and other HR transformational projects
· Being a comfortably confident expert in advice/support around organisation design and restructure including statutory consultation process for redundancy, change in terms and conditions and TUPE
· Direct trade union engagement including leading negotiations, relationship management with regional officers and leading local-level shop stewards/general workforce within a unionised environment
Essentials required to succeed:
· Minimum 5 years generalist HR experience
· Trade union experience (local or national)
· Experience in Logistics Sector
· Comprehensive understanding of pay & grading, employee engagement and culture change
· Strong business acumen & influencing skills
· Track record of successfully resolving complex employee relations issues
· Experience with management of change/restructuring programmes including TUPE
