JOB SUMMARY
As the key Human Resources point of contact for an assigned client group, the Human Resources Business Partner, Senior, serves as the primary Human Resources consultant to leaders of teams within the assigned client group, assisting staff, faculty, students, and managers with key human resource needs. A Senior HR business partner exhibits good collaboration and communication skills so they can communicate with employees throughout the organization and thus influence employees at all levels. In addition, a senior Human Resource business partner must have the ability to recognize issues that hinders the employee work environment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conducts meetings with respective business units.
- Partner with leaders and their teams for the development of strategies that boost engagement, productivity and growth.
- Develop such work strategies to improve the employee work environment, where they can work, thrive, enjoy, and grow more.
- Work on and develop policies for people and human resources management and provide such solutions that can help in achieving the employee initiatives’ and goals.
- Closely work with teams to provide guidance and structure for talent acquisition, employee performance management, compensation and rewards, and employee career development.
- Work as a counselor, mentor, and consultant for leaders to inform and ask them about the strategic planning so you can easily translate the business requirements into Human Resources initiatives and programs.
- Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations.
- Provides day-to-day talent management guidance and ensures end-to-end processes from requisition, interviewing, hiring and on-boarding are completed.
- Facilitate, and communicate organizational change initiatives.
- Interpret University policies, procedures and practices by applying Human Resources best practices and ensuring compliance with university policy and practice, as well as employment and labor law.
- Develop organizational solutions and best practices by collecting and analyzing information; recommend courses of action, including recruitment and retention opportunities.
- Identify and present ideas for improved operational efficiencies for improved employee service offerings.
- Conduct on‐demand training for identified as requested.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
Education Bachelor’s degree
Experience 6+ years of related experience.
Written and Verbal Communications. Solid achievements as an HR professional. Good mentorship and coaching skills. Knowhow of what a great human resource department looks like and how the business work cycle affects the people and employee agenda
Licenses or Certifications PHR, SHRM-CP, SPHR, or SHRM-SCP (Preferred)
Financial Responsibility None
Supervision May lead student employees and their projects.
Special Knowledge Workday experience is a plus. Higher Ed experience preferred. Microsoft professional office software.
