Our client is a fortune 500 global IT and Technology company that have been established for nearly 50 years due to significant changes and growth within the business they are looking to recruit a Senior HR Business partner to join their team and be part of the Employee satisfaction teams reporting to the Head of this department.
A full time role paying up to £80,000 you will be the face of for the Employee success strategy for the business and partner with a range of teams within the wider people function and senior members of the business.
Areas of responsibility
- Drive and provide leadership of their companywide strategic talent processes and programs for your assigned teams as well as acting as a Project Manager to the Business Partner team as required
- Provide the business recommendations to assist the business leaders in your business unit, starting with the VP in solving for their talent challenges leveraging available company resources and subject matter experts within in country CoEs
- Serve as a coach and advisor to the business leaders in your business unit
- Take ownership and manage and execute all day-to-day activities with a solution and outcome oriented mindset.
- Build processes and procedures to ensure compliance with country law.
- Oversee team analysis on advanced employee relations issues to make decisions and recommendations
- Run complex investigations in cooperation with ER
- Negotiates and manages labor law disputes in required settings
- Acts as the primary interface with senior leadership on HR issues within business unit
Experience needed
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
- Strong demonstratable business facing human resources experience in various disciplines, but generalist experience preferred in a population of 500+ employees
- Management experience
- Advanced knowledge of human resource legislation and employment laws
- History of working in a matrix environment
- Proven matrix management skills with the ability to lead cross functionally "without authority"
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels in a constructive, balanced and professional manner
- Executive presence and strong presentation ability
- Strong conflict resolution and problem-solving skills
- History of managing change
- Track record in performance and succession management
- Proven track record of strong interpersonal skills and good judgment to manage sensitive and confidential matters
- Demonstrated ability to balance competing priorities/projects with the ability to adapt to the changing needs of the business while meeting deadlines and providing high quality work and service levels
