Within this role you will report into a Lead HRBP and will be responsible for working alongside and collaborating with the leaders within your region/s to guide the provision of people related services.
Location: The role will be home-based and involve travel 3 days a week to your regional practices. The region covers from Northumbria to Doncaster incorporating East and West Yorkshire.
In the role, some of your key responsibilities will include:
- Building a deep understanding of your region/s and their strategic priorities and goals, to support the development of HR strategies.
- Identifying and provide practical and proactive solutions to people based issues that arise within your division/ region.
- Driving consistency of approach across the organisation in attracting, managing and developing talent to support current and future business needs.
- Supporting the culture of employee engagement and wellbeing to deliver improved business performance. Proactively gauging employee engagement in functional areas and implementing solutions as required.
- Working with the resourcing team and managers on recruitment and on-boarding, assisting with leadership assessment/selection within your region/division.
- Conducting exit interviews to gain insight and implement solutions to improve retention within your region/s.
- Support managers/team leaders to embed a performance culture within the business; providing coaching and support on 1:1's, and competency frameworks.
- Working with managers to identify employees with high potential, develop career paths in consideration of key roles for succession planning and self-development.
To be successful in the role, you will be/be able to demonstrate:
- CIPD qualified (or equivalent) with relevant experience of delivering HR partnering within a complex multi-site organisation.
- Excellent coaching skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with leaders/managers.
- Knowledge and experience of supporting workforce change and redesign projects.
- Excellent knowledge of current employment legislation.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate complex ideas and information to a range of audiences and stakeholders.
- Able to analyse problems and generate pragmatic solutions to complex workforce issues.
