Job summary
The Health and Community Services HR team is aligned exclusively to Health and Community Services. This is an exciting time to join the HR team as we continue to support the development of people strategies and interventions to make HCS a great place to work. The successful candidate report to the Associate Director of People for HCS and will lead a team of HR of HR Consultant delivering generalist HR advice to HCS. They will work as an independent practitioner within broad policy guidelines and employment law, providing specialist HR support to senior managers across the department.
You will be experienced in leading and developing HR teams in a fast paced, dynamic and complex environment and will have experience of advising senior managers on a range of people matters, ensuring that the best approach is identified for each set of circumstances, and helping embed our personalised people management approach.
You will also be expected to contribute towards the improvement of policy, guidance and training resources; to advise managers on the interpretation of policy and terms and conditions; develop management and leadership capability within the Care Group areas; and work collaboratively with colleagues within the wider People and Corporate Services team.
