The HRBP EMEA provides HR partnership to the functional leaders and works closely together with EMEA HRBP’s on HR projects, depending on future business growth there should be flexibility to provide country HRBP support to other countries due to business needs. She/he develops and implements HR initiatives focused on achieving business objectives.
This position is hands-on and tactical to provide human resources expertise in the areas of employee relations, change management, performance management, employee retention, coaching/development, conflict management, workforce planning in a context of a multinational diagnostics company. This position will also provide support to the VP EMEA in HR projects, Leadership team meetings and facilitation of (HR) meetings.
This position is part of the HR EMEA department and will be located in UK (High Wycombe Buckinghamshire), on an Hybrid mode. This is a 6 months Temporary contract.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Deploys global, EMEA Cepheid HR strategies, policies, and processes
Actively lead and drive change initiatives and provide direct HR support and advice as required for initiatives such as consolidations, restructuring and acquisitions
Compliance with all local legal requirements and develop and maintain good working relationships with statutory bodies
Manage the effective recruitment and selection of high caliber internal and external candidates
Deliver competitive compensation and benefits plans to ensure Cepheid can attract and retain people whilst driving high performance
Supports the delivery of effective HR services from HR Operations and HR Centers of Excellence as well as external service providers
Support the EMEA HR function with leadership team meetings and project delivery. Work with HR analytics
Control & manage the HR EMEA budget
The essential requirements of the job include
Broad experience in HR, combined with strong strategic and tactical experience
Strong experience in Microsoft office tools (excel, powerpoint) and collaboration tools like Miro, teams etc.
Experience with supporting/partnering mid-level managers and above
Strong knowledge and experience with managing change and labor relations.
Working in a US based multinational matrix-organization, fluent in English (another language is a plus)
This role will involve some travel for business (up to 15%) and as such you must be able to travel accordingly.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
Working in a fast-paced commercial environment, outstanding organizational and structured skills, attention to detail, ability to handle multiple tasks and actions
Ability to work independently, with guidance in only the most complex situations
Profound knowledge of MS Office tools and HR ERP systems, e.g. Workday
