We have a fantastic new role for an experienced HR Business Partner, who is open to a new contract role to start from End of September/Start of October. This role will be 12 months FTC as it is to support the team as maternity leave cover.
Our client, a growing and already global Environmental Business Consulting firm is hiring a driven and experienced HR Business Partner who will work across allocated client groups, managing everything from succession planning, talent mapping and learning needs, to managing Employee Relations and supporting with employee lifecycle needs.
This is a period of growth for the company and an exciting time to join as you’ll be key in rolling out people initiatives and able to present your own ideas for new people projects. The skill set for success in this role is a professional, people-focused HR Business Partner with senior leadership partnering experience, employee relations skills (though there is low volume of ER) and the ability to roll your sleeves up to support any HR operational duties, though there is a HR Ops Lead that manages the majority of operational duties.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Support and advise managers within your client groups with succession planning, talent management, learning needs, employee relations and any other people related advice required
- Contribute to the generation of ideas for HR initiatives and roll out current initiatives to your client groups
- Working alongside the Talent Partner to help your client groups attract, recruit and retain the best talent
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the people function, making improvements to our processes to ensure they are efficient and ensure we are providing excellent internal service.
- Support all employees and line managers with employee relations, escalating to HR Director where required
- Not be afraid to roll your sleeves up with HR Operations where required, given the lean nature of the team
