THE ROLE
An opportunity to influence and deliver the IAG Cargo people strategy. The role will be responsible for working closely with senior business leaders to support the delivery of the business plan and leading the HR agenda for the business area.
The role will be accountable for optimising people capability in each business area, ensuring all people-related requirements are prioritised, driving engagement, talent and performance initiatives to enable a high-performance culture.
As part of your role, you will be able to build strong relationships and be the first point of contact for all HR related queries for your aligned business area. You will be a self-starter, solutions focused, and results driven.
ABOUT YOU
Qualifications
- Professional HR practitioner qualifications preferred: HR or employment law degree (desirable)
- and/or CIPD qualification role (desirable)
Experience
- Experience of operating as a HR Business Partner, both strategic and executional, ideally in a global environment
- Up to date knowledge of HR best practice and employment legislation
- People Champion who promotes equality and diversity as part of the culture of the organisation
- Experience of operating in a business partner model, working with local managers to create positive business outcomes
- Experience of working with Trade Unions.
- Change management experience, with a demonstrated track record of successfully delivering people related change agendas within a global organisation.
- Experience and knowledge of working in a group environment with cross-cultural understanding
