Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 p/a
Working Hours: 8.30am – 5pm, Monday to Friday (Some flexibility required upon occasions)

Our Bakkavor business in Bo’ness, based near Falkirk, specialises in the production of fresh, high quality salad products working primarily with premium retailers. To give you a sense for the scale of manufacturing in Bo’ness we produce over 70million salad based meals and side dishes from our 2 manufacturing facilities employing over 1200 people in the town.
The Role:
Bakkavor Salads Bo'ness is looking to recruit a HR Business Partner to hit the ground running alongside the Senior HR Business Partner and HR Associate to ensure all HR duties are met in a timely manner.
Job Responsibilities and Duties:
- Support the Senior HRBP in delivering the business resourcing process including career and succession discussions, assessment and development centre observation and feedback, to ensure delivery of a talent pipeline for the business unit.
- Work with My HR Services to deliver all weekly paid and some salaried recruitment.
- Conduct labour planning meetings with operational managers to ensure that manning levels for permanent and temporary labour are always at the optimum level
- Coach line managers on the people performance cycle and ensures all reviews are completed, performance development plans are live and action plans are in place where improvement is required. Develop line managers through coaching to ensure quality conversations take place.
- Work with line managers to deliver the business engagement plan and specific engagement initiatives including the employee engagement survey
- Deliver local OD initiatives ensuring outcomes meet needs of the business and employment legislation and managers are supported with managing change.
- Ensure compliance with HR policies and processes for area of responsibility
- Active case management plus and coaching and support to line managers on absence, disciplinary and grievance issues and ensure managers have the appropriate skills to manage these people processes.
- Provide insight to the SHRBP and Line Managers on root causes on people-related issues and make recommendations on how to address and improve our people management practices.
- Support SHRBP with management of pay, reward and recognition for the business
- Report on KPIs for area of responsibility. Produce and interpret metrics, develop business cases and agree actions to drive improvements with line managers and the SHRBP.
- Ensure area of responsibility is always audit ready from a people and ethical perspective. In addition support SHRBP with the business ethical agenda
The successful candidate will ideally:
- Be CIPD qualified, ideally Level 7
- Have experience in managing a team and aiding in the teams development alongside managing performance management, disciplinaries, grievances, ER case management with strong HR Generalist background.
- Have experience as a standalone HR Business Partner within a Manufacturing fast-paced and busy environment.
- Ability to build relationships and have challenging conversations when need.
- Have strong influencing, project management and data management skills.
