HR Business Partner
We currently have a vacancy to join our HR team as a HR Business Partner, reporting into the HR Director. Based within a reasonable commutable distance from our head office in Aston, Birmingham you will work closely with the Operations Director and will business partner with our Regional Managers who are responsible for the centre network covering a geographical area from the Midlands to the South of the country.
The role will require a combination of home, office based working along with some travel within our network in line with business demand, and therefore a driving licence is required.
As HR Business Partner in this generalist HR role, you will work collaboratively with our experts in Reward, Development and Recruitment to drive and support the ongoing design and implementation of the People Strategy across the business.
Your main responsibilities will include:
Working with Operational colleagues to ensure regular people reviews are held to drive the performance and development of our employees.
- Acting as an escalation point for guidance on complex people related issues.
- Coaching Operations management teams to raise capability in managing employee relations issues.
- Coaching and mentoring a HR Advisor/s based within our centralised HR Advisory team.
- Taking responsibility for HR related projects or initiatives aligned to the business strategy.
The ideal candidate will be a CIPD qualified HR professional with similar experience in a business partnering role who has worked within a fast paced, multi-sited customer focused organisation previously.
You will be commercially focused and adaptable to change, and be able to work autonomously but also as part of a team. With a good sense of humour, you will have the ability to build relationships at all levels based on trust and respect, and you will have excellent verbal and written communication skills. You will be able to articulate best practice HR in a practical manner and will work collaboratively with your HR colleagues to co-create solutions that meet the needs of our business.
In return you will be rewarded a basic salary of circa £50,000 per annum depending on experience, a car allowance and private healthcare.
