We have a fantastic position become available for a Human Resource Business Partner to join the Arriva TrainCare team in Crewe. Reporting into the Head of HR you will be responsible for overseeing the HR support service provided to all areas of the business.

Main Responsibilities:
- Providing support case-managing complex or high-risk cases
- Building effective partnerships with key stakeholders within Arriva TrainCare and the broader Arriva division to deliver business strategy
- Nurture relationships with staff reps and recognised Trade Unions to maintain and improve industrial relations
- Support the HR team to provide best practice advice and guidance to Line Managers in line with legislation and business policies
- Lead on key HR projects including TUPE transfers, changes to working practices, undertaking research related to new policies and procedures
- Completion of all required HR reporting in a timely and accurate matter
- Work closely with the Talent Team to ensure that the business is able to identify and attract key people
- Manage Internal Control System compliance to specific minimum requirements ensuring HR processes are appropriate and effective.
- Line management responsibilities for the HR Officers in the local business
What do I need to become a HR Business Partner?
- Experience of complex HR experience, process and functional development is essential
- Understanding and practice of employee relations and employment law
- Experience of change management and ER case management, to ensure best possible delivery
- In depth knowledge of Employment Legislation and be able to advise the business accordingly
- Competent in the use of HR systems and Microsoft Office
- Ability to manager numerous high profile projects simultaneously
- Strong analytical skills
