We are delighted to be working exclusively with a large manufacturing business based in Wrexham as they look to recruit a HR Assistant to join their friendly and supportive HR team. You will be responsible for supporting the HR team, and wider business where required, with all employee lifecycle activity, including the on- and off-boarding processes and systems support.
This is a superb opportunity for either a HR graduate looking to gain invaluable exposure, or a HR professional early in their career looking to progress their experience. You will receive a full, detailed training plan to ensure success within the role.
Main Responsibilities / Duties of the HR Assistant:
- Ensure HR systems are updated with correct and relevant employee information.
- Organising recruitment campaigns and conducting/arranging interviews either in person or with relevant managers.
- Overseeing the onboarding process for new starters, e.g., issuing offers, obtaining documentations, setting up on internal systems.
- Support HR in managing employee relations case work, including taking notes, preparing contracts files.
- Support on HR projects where necessary.
- Experience in HR based role or completed CIPD Level 3.
- High level of computer literacy
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills Keen eye for detail, accuracy is essential in this role.
- Proactive, willing to learn and always using initiative.
