As HR Assistant you will be a key member of the HR Team and will support the Head of HR & Well-Being in delivering an effective and valuable HR service across the organisation.

Key details of the job description
You will be responsible for providing HR administrative support for the HR Department; Head of HR & Well-Being, Executive Leadership Team and all PHARMExcel staff.
This will involve supporting the Head of HR & Well-Being in all HR administrative tasks in the areas of selection and recruitment; staff appraisals; retaining and maintaining staff personnel details; grievances/disciplinaries; employee relations, HR policies and procedures; well-being; company induction; leavers; Investors in People (IIP); charity & social events.
You will;
· provide HR administrative support to Head of HR & Well-Being; Executive Leadership Team and all staff
· use a range of office software, including email, spreadsheets and databases, to ensure the efficient running of all HR administration
· support the Head of HR & Well-Being and the HR department in ensuring that the HR KPI’s are met and achieved
· responsible for the administration aspects of the recruitment and selection process, such as preparing and sending interview invitation letters, preparing the interview schedule and packs. Then preparing and sending offer letters, requesting references, inserting new staff personnel details into Bright HR, ensuring all new starters’ admin is completed; update the recruitment and other HR tracker sheets held electronically
· support the Head of HR & Well-Being in preparing the monthly HR report for the CEO/COO ensure all HR related records are kept up to date
· assist the HR department with reviewing and updating company job descriptions
· help the HR department to maintain all HR documentation in accordance with GDPR Regulation
· maintain and keep all staff personnel records up to date both electronically & paper based
· send emails and letters to staff relating to any contract amendments, private healthcare insurance, well-being initiatives
· update staff records on Bright HR
· support the Head of HR & Well-Being in well-being, social and charity events
· assist the HR department in reviewing HR policies for the company
· assist the Head of HR & Well-Being in preparing and delivering the Company Induction days for all new staff
· keep track of staff appraisals and reviews, ensuring these are taking place, recording, and saving all related paperwork and chasing if not received
· ensure the HR administration and checklists are completed for all leavers, and questionnaires sent out
· support the Head of HR & Well-Being in the Investors in People (IIP) Award assessment and preparation
· assist in the administration aspects of staff sickness, grievance and disciplinary meetings where appropriate
· provide administrative support in staff training where required, allocating online training and collate evaluation forms
About you
Essentials:
· Educated to at least A Level or equivalent
· Administrative/Office Experience
· Excellent organisational and time management skills
· Have a strong passion for Human Resources
· Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and other commonly used office packages
· Strong IT and typing skills
· The ability to prioritise tasks and work under pressure
· Good teamworking skills
· Well organised and the ability to manage your own workload
· Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
· Good attention to detail
· Be flexible and adaptable to changing workloads
· Have a problem-solving approach to work
Desirables:
- Business or HR related degree
- CIPD Level 3/5 or studying towards
- Experience in an HR role
