Perrett Laver is hiring a Human Resource (HR) Assistant to work within the Central
Operations Team. In this newly developed role, Perrett Laver are looking for an
outgoing and personable individual who relishes the opportunity to work across
multiple areas of HR at once and to work closely with, and support, the Global
Operations Partner to deliver effective operational HR support across the business.
The main responsibilities of the post are outlined below. However, as with all
employees of Perrett Laver, the willingness to be flexible and take on additional tasks
and responsibilities when appropriate is essential.
HR Assistant responsibilities include, but aren’t limited to:
- Maintaining and updating personnel records on the HRIS system
- Preparing documentation relating to employment matters such as promotions, job
- Liaising with the company’s benefits providers as and when necessary, regarding
insurance
- Assisting with various HR projects as they arise (L&D, D&I, Recruitment etc).
- Providing support for payroll activities within the business
- Managing the HROps inbox and acting as a point of contact for day-to-day operational
- Experience of independently managing a full range of employee relations cases, such
- Providing reports on metrics within the business
- Supporting teams on new starter on-boarding process from start to finish
- Conducting exit interviews and processing leavers
- Ensuring that data and documents are managed in accordance with GDPR principles
