Job Title: HR and Payroll Assistant
Responsible to – HR and Payroll Team Leader
Job Overview
To provide HR administrative support within the Trust HR team. This role requires the postholder to have the ability to work to deadlines, be flexible and maintain confidentiality at all times.
Main Responsibilities
Under the direct supervision of the HR and Payroll Team Leader the postholder will undertake a range of duties, which may include responsibility to:
1. Input data into SIMS, Every and Dataplan software plus all other recording systems to ensure accurate and up to date information is held for all Trust staff
2. Input staff sickness data
3. Input training records
4. Input into Single Central Record
5. Input basic payroll information
6. Monitor and update annual leave entitlements
7. Scan documents
8. File documents accurately
9. Type up routine documents
10. Assist with recruitment procedures and activities
11. Assist with transition to new software and highlight any training needs
12. Assist with email/ telephone enquiries from the Academies
13. Maintain strict compliance with GDPR principles at all times.
14. Maintain awareness of current relevant education and legislative guidance and alerting the HR Manager to published changes.

Contract length: 12 months
Part-time hours: 37 per week
