Duties Responsibilities
- Support the strategy for all aspects of human resources including but not limited to recruitment, performance management, employee relations, compensation and benefits, and compliance with employment laws
- Serve as a business partner to leadership, providing coaching and guidance on people-related issues
- Oversee the development and implementation of programs designed to engage employees and build a positive culture
- Manage the budget for the HR department and ensure cost-effective operations
- Conduct regular audits of HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations
- Keep abreast of industry trends and best practices in human resources and make recommendations to senior management
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization
- Represent the company at various events and conferences related to human resources
- Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
- Prepare reports and presentations for senior management on various topics related to human resources
- Perform other duties as assigned
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Proven track record of developing and implementing effective human resources programs
- Strong understanding of federal and state employment laws
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
- Ability to think strategically and execute tactically
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or related field
- 5+ years experience in human resources management
- Master’s degree in human resources, business administration, or related field
- Previous experience in the same role
- Experience with employee relations, benefits administration, and workers’ compensation
- Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)
