This is an exciting opportunity to work within the HR department working alongside the HR Manager and HR Co-ordinator within the Head Office for a group of dental practices.
The ideal candidate for this role will be hardworking, willing to learn and has the enthusiasm to gain more knowledge and training within HR.
This is an entry level position and previous HR experience is not essential.
Job Description
This role will mainly involve completing the onboarding and compliance for new and current employees. As an assistant you will also support and help the HR Manager when required in additional duties.
The job role will involve:
- Contracts for new starters
- Pre-employment checks and documents
- Starter packs for new starters
- Ensuring payroll receive the required documents for new starters
- Contract amendments
- Creating and maintaining staff personnel files
- Answering email queries and chasing staff/Managers for documents
- DBS checks
- Looking after the HR email distributing emails to the team
Requirements
- Excellent knowledge and skill in Microsoft Office
- Good spoken and written English
- Good understanding of confidentiality
- GCSE qualification in English and Maths
- Due to the location of the position the successful candidate must have a full driving licence
This is a full time office based position Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.30pm.
