The HR Assistant will be an integral member of the Finance and Operations team ensuring the HR function operates smoothly, is well organised, and enables B Lab UK to attract and retain our employees. You will assist the HR Lead in providing a high quality HR service for our growing organisation and be responsible for day to day HR administration.

Responsibilities
- Act as a key point of contact for HR administration related queries
- Support the HR Lead to manage the end to end recruitment process
- Coordinate the end to end onboarding and induction processes for new joiners
- Manage the shared recruitment inbox
- Coordinate the off-boarding process for leavers
- Maintain employee files and ensure completeness and adherence to UK GDPR
- Ensure the HR database (BambooHR) accurate and up to date at all times
- Ensure organisational charts are kept up to date
- Support the HR Lead to embed the JEDI principles (Justice, Equity, Diversity & Inclusion) in HR policies, practices and approaches.
- Generate reports from the HR system and other sources, for the purpose of monitoring employee data and compliance as required, as well as progress on initiatives and plans.
- Continuously learn the latest HR best practices to improve workplace efficiency
- Any ad hoc support on HR and Finance and Operations team activities and projects
Skills and experience
- You have experience working in HR Administration or equivalent experience in an administrative role
- You are organised with great attention to detail
- You have excellent prioritisation skills and take a flexible approach
- You have excellent communication skills both written and verbal with the ability to listen, express and articulate information effectively
- Stakeholder management, you are confident working with a range of people at different levels
- You are proactive and use your initiative to think ahead and anticipate needs
- You are good at working independently but are also a collaborative team member
- You have a high level of integrity in managing sensitive and confidential information
- You have good numerical skills and are able to manage data
- You are strong with IT skills particularly Google Suite, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- You are eligible to work in the UK (we will not be able to provide visa sponsorship)
