The role and responsibilities of a HR Assistant:
Our HR Assistants provide a comprehensive, efficient and customer responsive HR service to line managers within our client businesses. You will be part of a team of over 200 HR professionals all providing advice and guidance online and via a telephony adviceline in relation to a number of ER topics. Your role will include:
- Advising line managers on ER topics such as absence management, maternity, paternity and working arrangements in line with the clients policies and procedures and within agreed SLAs
- Follow agreed principles to escalate cases when appropriate based on risk or stage of case
- Capture and track all advice provided on internal call management system to ensure effective and proactive case management
- Where required, to provide support to inbound call management, working with the Coordination team
Skills and experience required to be a successful HR Assistant:
- Articulate, confident and fluent communicators demonstrating a high level of both oral and written English
- A customer orientated approach and focus
- Well-developed interpersonal skills
- Advanced IT skills (Word processing, Spreadsheets, Databases, Internet, MS Outlook)
- A commercial/pragmatic approach to problem solving
- A committed team player who is effective working with the team and independently
- A keen interest in a career in HR
