HR Apprentice - Remote based in the UK
Are you someone who is a proactive, dynamic individual looking to progress their career in Human Resources, with the flexibility to work remotely from home within a positive and enthusiastic HR team?
You will naturally work in collaboration as ‘One Team’ with our HR colleagues, HR Centres of Excellence, Recruitment, Reward, Learning & Development, and other HR functions to support HR Governance and Projects across Ardonagh Advisory. This role is varied with the opportunity to learn about the importance of good governance in a regulated environment, the operational implementation of HR cyclical activities alongside developing broader HR knowledge to answer question and queries from our business colleagues.
Some key accountabilities include:
- Work towards Level 3 CIPD
- Support the smooth running of our key cyclical activities including Performance Management, Talent and Succession and annual leave carry over process.
- Assist with regulated activity including Senior Manager and Certification Regime (SMCR), ensuring tracking is up to date and accurate.
- Inputting and tracking actions, alongside reporting and escalating when required.
- Support risk management by tracking and updating actions and assisting with the breach notification processes.
- Provide support to specific HR and organisational projects. including updating and tracking key initiatives and cyclical activities.
- Support HR team by managing the central mailbox and answering business colleagues HR Queries or signposting to appropriate teams.
- Organising meetings and minute taking as required.
About you:
We are looking for some on who has a high attention to detail and accuracy with excellent communication skills demonstrated through a variety of methods with the ability to maintain confidentiality and integrity in all matters, displaying good judgement and initiative when required. You must be open to new ideas and be able to identify and raise ideas for improvement where appropriate. We are also looking for:
- Minimum 5 GCSE A-C or equivalent
- Competent user of Microsoft Office applications
