Position Overview


At BibliU our people are at the centre of everything we do. We have built a brilliant team and we work hard to ensure that our employees are happy, motivated, developed, rewarded and supported from Day 1 and throughout their time with us. You will be working closely with the Head of People to ensure our HR function runs smoothly on a daily basis as well as own our recruitment function working alongside our incredible Hiring Managers to welcome more A-players to Team BibliU! This is the perfect role for someone who has already had some experience within HR but also has a passion and love for recruitment!


What you will be doing:


This is a key role that allows us to look after our employees and create a fantastic experience for them. Your responsibilities will be split into two areas; HR and Recruitment.


HR


  • Creating an excellent onboarding experience for our new starters. We want our employees to feel welcome from day 1 and you will be there every step of the way to make this happen.
  • Administering the employee lifecycle. From starters, to changes and leavers, you will be looking after our processes and make sure our systems are up-to-date
  • Looking after our calendar and making sure that we recognise and celebrate our employees’ birthdays and anniversaries
  • Keeping track of probations and ensure that all employees have had a probationary review meeting
  • Events! Helping plan and execute an exciting social calendar that will encourage our employees to interact and will bring our people closer together
  • Ensuring that all our documentation is up to date and all employee documents are saved in the relevant folders
  • Supporting the Head of People

Recruitment


  • Being the champion of our recruitment function and all hiring efforts.
  • Working with our hiring managers to create job descriptions. We always ensure that our specs describe our roles accurately and catch the eye of our targeted candidates.
  • Posting all vacancies on our ATS and relevant job boards. When we have a new opening, we want the world to hear about it!
  • Helping the team identify the most efficient and effective hiring process for each vacancy. We want our candidates to have a great experience from the moment they apply up until our last interaction with them.
  • Shortlisting CVs and scheduling interviews across different time zones.
  • Conducting interviews and being a member of the hiring panel. You will be a trusted member of the team from Day 1 so we will depend on you to help us make the right hiring decisions.
  • Headhunting candidates for niche roles. When we do not have enough traction for one of our open roles, we don’t sit and wait - we get out there and try to entice the candidates that we love!


What we are looking for:


  • Love for people! Our employees are at the core of everything we do in HR and the focus of our team is to serve and assist the fantastic team we have built over the years
  • 1-2 years of experience in HR (including recruitment)
  • Experience working for a start-up would be a plus
  • Experience working with Google Docs & Microsoft Office
  • Thirst to learn and get involved with different project
