HR & Office Assistant
Full time, permanent (part time hours considered)
Hybrid – WFH/Andover office

Our client, Wren Laboratories are a successful family-run business producing a best-selling range of health supplements called ‘Optibac Probiotics’. Based in Andover, Hampshire, they are committed to producing high quality products and excellent customer service whilst being the UK’s most recommended brand.
They are now seeking a driven and hardworking HR & Office Assistant to join their vibrant workplace and support team members with day-to-day HR issues. The successful candidate will be responsible for three key areas: HR/Recruitment, PA support and Office admin.
HR & Office Assistant, the role:
HR & Recruitment:
- Maintaining and updating the online HR system and records
- Recording employee sickness absence
- Preparing employee variation letters
- Managing the company leavers processes and database
- Monitoring the HR inbox and offering basic advice on HR policies and procedures
- Assisting in the preparation of HR reports for the Senior Management Team
- Supporting the Recruiting Manager in liaising with candidates and arranging interviews
- Helping to create induction schedules for new starters
PA:
- Coordinating ‘Manager Meetings’ on behalf of the Board of Directors
- Delivering general administrative duties
- Providing additional ad-hoc tasks for the Board of Directors
Office Support:
- Collating information to keep maintenance manual up to date
- Arranging annual maintenance/repairs
- Ordering new stationery and furniture
- Providing administrative support to the Health & Safety Officer
- Booking venues, travel, and accommodation where necessary
HR & Office Assistant, the person:
- Previous HR admin experience
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Willingness to learn
- High attention to detail
- Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines efficiently
HR & Office Assistant, the benefits:

This is a full time, permanent position of 40 hours per week; however, part time hours could be considered. Travel to London once a month may be necessary to work more closely with the Board of Directors.
