Job description
This role is to provide strong administrative support to the Team Operations and HR Manager and assist the ODI team with HR information and queries. A steady flow of planning that assists the successful management of the HR function for the ODI UK team will be required. The ideal candidate will have worked in a coordinator, HR, EA, or similar role before but the key skills we’re looking for are organization, attention to detail, strong interpersonal skills, flexibility, and the ability to manage several tasks simultaneously whilst prioritizing. You’ll enjoy working with the Team Operations and HR Manager to both make the daily tasks simple and accessible for them, and also collaborate to create a workplace and culture where people feel valued, trusted and invested in; not just for ‘best practice’ but because we’re a Christian community.
You’ll need cultural awareness due to the international nature of the work and you must be fluent in written and spoken English.
Your key responsibilities
- To assist with the HR administration, including but not limited to: Recruitment, onboarding, contracts, starters, leavers, staff changes, letters, salary spreadsheets, policy & procedure updates;
- To maintain the accuracy of information on the HR system in accordance with HR policies and data protection guidelines;
- To assist the Team Operations & HR Manager with research, analysis, preparation, communication, drafting documents and any other work associated with HR and team projects.
- Purchasing, processing invoices, coordinating rotas, entering budget information and flagging any issues;
- Coordination of team days and retreats in conjunction with the Team Operations and HR Manager;
- To prepare and coordinate surveys and focus groups
- To provide administrative support in arranging insurance, business compliance and office/working space
- Travel and visa administration
Your profile
- A committed Christian with a passion for the Persecuted Church
- Highly organized, able to manage and prioritise multiple tasks
- Team player, adept at building strong relationships cross-organisationally and -culturally
- Working experience of Microsoft Office, Teams, Outlook
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and produce work of a consistently high, accurate standard; demonstrated through visible time management and planning
- A responsible and mature outlook
- Ability to learn quickly

This is a salaried position with a full-time gross annual salary between £25,000 and £31,000
