How will you make an impact?
Through close collaboration with Thermo Fisher stakeholders, the HR Analyst understands and translates customer needs into recommended end-to-end solutions utilizing our HR technology and process landscape. Part of the HR Operations platform and the HR Service Delivery Operations team, this role is critical in helping the HR function and the HR Shared Services organization meet strategic goals to enable the business by implementing targeted improvements to our service delivery operations, technology, and processes. The focus of this role is to help drive productivity and scalability of our service delivery model and work towards an outstanding experience for our customers. Excellent analytical, project and process leadership skills will ensure successful implementations and sustained operations.
As an HR Analyst, you will provide day-to-day support to Thermo Fisher’s HR Shared Service organization as well as across HR Platforms/Centers of Excellence (predominantly Payroll) and regions by consulting on, and facilitating, the management and evolution of our Payroll Roadmap and how this impacts case management, chat and other service delivery processes, functionalities and standard operating procedures.
What will you do?
- Represent HR Operations and the Service Enablement team within the framework of the Payroll Harmonization Project
- Review, Assess and Document service delivery implications for HR Operations in relation to Payroll Harmonization Project
- Partner across the HR platform, predominantly with Payroll to facilitate the execution of the company’s Payroll Road Map goals
- Understand ServiceNow technology and functionalities to offer recommendations for effective and efficient solutions designed to optimize productivity and to improve the colleague experience
- Develop clear functional requirements that communicate customer/business needs in technical terms that allow IT/HRTS to build technical solutions that meet business requirements where needed
- Work as an HR process and functional expert on HR projects as required
- Lead smaller scale projects, crafting plans to ensure successful deployment, communicating to stakeholders, and meeting goals
- Align with overall direction of the Thermo Fisher HR Operations, including deployment and support of any common frameworks, methodologies, and governance requirements. Cultivate an environment of continuous learning, sharing and improvement within the HR PMO.
- Participate in platform stakeholder meetings to consult on, or lead, accurate exchange of information and identification of independencies and process optimization related considerations regarding current and new work
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Human Resources, IT or related field
- Experienced organization and planning skills with solid attention to detail, ability to work independently
- Good social and consultative skills
- Proficient verbal and written communication in addition to excellent listening skills
- 5+ years Human Resources, HR Shared Services, HR Consulting, HR Operations, or IT related experience
- Consistent track record of supporting systems and processes, preferably in a large, global sophisticated organization
- Knowledge of ServiceNow HR functionalities
- Ability to work multi-functionally with a matrixed team of experts across functions and business groups
- Attention to detail
- Strong customer service and stakeholder leadership skills
- Conflict resolution and problem-solving skills
- In-depth diagnosis, decisioning, and analytical skills required, including a detailed understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into requirements
- Ability to handle change effectively, always mindful of technology and business implications
- Project management skills preferred
- Workday HCM, or other HR systems experience preferred
